XiangWu is a full professor at the School of Chemistry and ChemicalEngineering of Hefei University of Technology. He is currently thedirector of the Department of Applied Chemistry. After graduated witha PhD from Nankai University in 2010, he has conducted pharmaceuticalprocess research and development at Suzhou Novartis PharmaceuticalTechnology Co., Ltd., and conducted postdoctoral research at theUniversity of Science and Technology of China and Pennsylvania StateUniversity in the United States of American. Currently, he is mainlyengaged in asymmetric catalytic reaction methodology and finechemical products, especially synthesis of pharmaceuticalintermediates and APIs. He hosted National Natural Science Foundationof China and Anhui Provincial Key R&D Plan, participated in anumber of national, provincial and ministerial level scientificresearch projects, published more than 30 papers in internationalhigh-level professional journals, participated in the publication ofone chapter, obtained 3 authorized patents and completed 3 corporateentrusted projects. Member of the Chinese Chemical Society; reviewerof high-level professional journals; project review expert of theNational Natural Science Foundation of China, Department of Scienceand Technology of Anhui Province and the Department of Industry andInformation Technology of Anhui Province. He has written 2 textbooks,is currently working on a provincial teaching quality project, haspublished 4 teaching and research papers.
